ZOTAC outs the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition graphics card

ZOTAC is introducing a new graphics card based on NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, the new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition. The new card (ZT-P10810F-10P) slots in between the company’s flagship AMP Extreme and AMP Edition cards.

As you can tell from the images below, the new ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition graphics card shares the same design as the flagship GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme. It gets the same stylish gunmetal gray finish and a Metal ExoArmor with wraparound backplate. However, it is a little behind in terms of performance, thanks to lower clocks. While the AMP Extreme card ships with a factory-overclocked 1645 MHz core and 1759 MHz boost clocks, the AMP Extreme Core Edition card ships with a 1607 MHz base and 1721 MHz boost clock. The 11GB of GDDR5X memory is clocked at 11.2 GHz on both cards. Both cards are identical when it comes to display outputs as well. You get 3x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0b, and a DL-DVI-D port.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition uses a triple-fan IceStorm cooling solution, identical to the flagship AMP Extreme card. The fans feature FREEZE fan stop technology, allowing the card to operate silently when the GPU temperature is under the threshold limit. For superior overclocking performance, ZOTAC has equipped the card with a 16 + 2 phase power design and a POWERBOOST control chip for live electrical current regulation plus instant electrical deviation responses. Like most other high-end graphics cards, the new ZOTAC card features customizable ZOTAC Spectra RGB LED lighting system.
