Tiger Woods’ disheveled headshot sparked gasps on Monday after his arrest for many who saw it across the internet. But for those who saw it on ESPN, there was a question: What’s going on with that hairline?
It wasn’t an intentional favor to the golfer. But an edit to make the photo fit in the program’s template.
From ESPN spokesperson Josh Krulewitz:
“We have utilized a standard template for on-air headshots, which led to the background being dropped for consistency. We will revisit this process to improve it going forward.”
