Yasiel Puig flipped off the Cleveland crowd after hitting a home run

Yasiel Puig had a message for the Indians fans at Progressive Field on Tuesday night, and he wasn’t exactly shy about it.

Puig gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead in the second inning with a two-run homer to center off Trevor Bauer. After Puig crossed home plate he gave someone in the crowd a double-bird salute as he made his way towards the dugout.

It was unclear what was said to Puig, but he wasn’t subtle at all about the gesture.

The home run was Puig’s 10th of the season.

“People were talking to me before the home run, and they talked to me after the home run,” Puig told the AP through a translator. “I stooped to their level. It happened suddenly. It came out. There’s nothing I can do about it. There were about four of them. They were pretty close there.”
