SENATE PRESS GALLERY OFFICIALS Block Reporters From Filming, Attending Capitol Hearing of Conservative Media Outlet

On Monday, June 12th 2017, The Gateway Pundit’s founder and EIC Jim Hoft along with D.C. Correspondent Lucian Wintrich and Media and Ethics Lawyer, Charles Glasser, counsel to Gateway Pundit, met before the Senate Press Gallery Executive Committee.

Gateway Pundit representatives argued against the committee’s decision to refuse one of the country’s largest conservative news outlets from obtaining a press pass from the committee.

The members of the Executive Committee of the Senate Periodical Press Gallery include:

Leo Shane – Military Times
Stephen K. Cooper – Tax Notes
Alex Bolton – Treasurer
Jason Dick – Roll Call
Anna Palmer – Politico
Philip Elliott – TIME Magazine
Tyrone Richardson – BNA News

The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft and Lucian Wintrich before Monday’s hearing.

The Gateway Pundit was one of the largest and most vocal pro-Trump websites before the November election.

Before the committee meeting took place reporters with cameras asked the committee of journalists to film the hearing.
The Senate Periodical Press Gallery officials denied them entry into the room.

Their excuse was that there was “not enough room” for the reporters to be let inside.
This was a lie. There were only 11 people seated in the entire room!

This same committee later leaked their decision to a liberal reporter at The Daily Beast 24 hours before they communicated their decision to The Gateway Pundit.

Later during the proceeding reporter Lee Stranahan entered the room to report on the hearing. The panel kicked them from the room.

Lee Stranahan spoke about the incident today on Periscope.

And now there is video of the Senate Press Gallery refusing reporters entry into the hearing.
