Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is promoting its Honor Band 3 fitness tracker as the perfect gift for Friendship Day and Raksha Bandhan, which fall on August 6 and August 7, respectively. The recently launched Honor Band 3, available in Elegant Black, Dynamic Orange, and Classic Navy Blue retails for 2,799 exclusively via Amazon, and is available with a 12-month service warranty.

The Honor Band 3 sports a 0.91-inch P-OLED display with a 128 x 32 pixel resolution, and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The wearable device is water resistant up to 50 meters, and features optical heart-rate monitoring technology that lets you check your fitness statistics anytime. The band also has a swimming mode to track swim time and calories burned as well.

It features five zones to help you track and optimise your workouts – warm-up, fat burning, aerobic, anaerobic, and extreme. The fitness tracker includes a Pedometer, a sleep tracker, a continuous heart-rate sensor, an infrared sensor, and 3-axis accelerometer. The band also features options for automatic recognition of burnt calories and measurements of distance and intensity of activities.

The fitness band is capable of continuously monitoring a user’s sleep pattern as well as using TruSleep, which allows users to analyse various stages of sleep including deep sleep, light sleep, REM sleep, and your waking state, to help obtain sleep quality evaluations, as recommended by the CBD centre of the Harvard Medical School.

In addition to its fitness tracking abilities, the Honor Band 3 also alerts you with notifications from apps such as Calendar, Email, Facebook, Instagram, Messages, and more when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The fitness tracker is powered by a 105mAh battery, which Huawei claims is capable of delivering a battery life of up to 30 days.
