The rough at the U.S. Open course already looks brutally difficult

I don’t know about you, but I love the U.S. Open. Absolutely love it. I know there’s something special about the Masters, but the U.S. Open is Number One for me. Yes, the conditions can be a bit much at times, but ti be honest I don’t really care. I like one week a year when everything that’s difficult about golf is ramped-up to the extreme. To watch pros grind and struggle, then crowning the toughest of them all.

If you like all of that, too, then you’re in good luck, because it doesn’t look like Erin Hills will be taking it easy when the U.S. Open rolls around in a few weeks…
