Reliance Jio today announced that it has revised the Rs.309 and Rs.509 plans that it had launched earlier this year after the Summer Surprise Offer had to be withdrawn. It has also introduced a new Rs.399 plan that is similar to the Rs.309 Dhan Dhana Dhan pack.
The Rs.309 plan now offers 56 days validity, down from 84 days earlier. It offers unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited SMS, and 1GB 4G data per day, beyond which the speeds will be lowered to 128 kbps. Next, we have the Rs.349 plan that offers the same 56 days validity, unlimited voice calls, unlimited SMS, and 10 + 10 GB 4G data. The new Rs.399 plan comes with 84 days validity and gives you 1GB 4G data per day.
Reliance Jio has slashed the validity of the Rs.509 plan from 84 days earlier to 56 days. However, it still offers 2GB data per day, along with unlimited voice calls and SMS like the other plans. The more expensive plans now come with longer validity as well as higher data. If you choose the 999 plan, you will now get 90 days validity and 90GB of data. The same plan earlier came with 60 days validity and 60GB of data. The 1999 plan offers 120 days validity and 155GB of data. With the Rs.4999 plan, Jio subscribers can now get 210 days validity along with 380GB of data. Finally, you have the Rs.9999 plan with 390 days validity and 780GB data. The Rs.149 and the other basic plans haven’t been altered.
Jio has also made changes to its postpaid plans to offer more validity as well as data.
The company also revealed that Prime membership still remains open, so if you haven’t bought your Jio Prime membership yet, you can still do so. To subscribe to Jio Prime, all you need to do is subscribe to any Prepaid or Postpaid plan and make a payment of Rs.99.
