Pro golfer literally bows down to opponent after losing bet

Friendly on-course wagers are a staple of golf — but the best ones seldom involve money.

Case and point: On Sunday at the European Tour’s BMW Championship, Spanish golfer Pablo Larrazabal and Haotong Li crafted a friendly side-bet during the final round of this week’s tournament. Unfortunately for Haotong, Pablo promptly shot a final-round 66, which meant that Haotong had to bow to him in defeat on the 18th green. Haotong, a man of his word, fulfilled his side of the bet.
