Micromax has added yet another selfie centric smartphone to their lineup. The Micromax Selfie 2 is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes with a full metal body. The Micromax Selfie 2 will be available at the retail stores starting from 1 of August and will run Android Nougat out of the box.
Micromax Selfie 2 comes equipped with a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D display along with a feature that offers better visibility in the outdoors and low light as well. Powering the device is the quad core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with a 3GB DDR3 RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 32GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to another 32GB. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back.
Micromax has fitted with Selfie 2 with an 8-Megapixel selfie sensor along with an LED flash. The soft flash is designed such that the additional glare is minimized. The primary camera is a 13-Megapixel sensor. Micromax has also introduced new features in the camera app like the Bokeh mode which blurs the background and fixes the focus on the subject. Furthermore, the auto scene detection is expected to choose the best setting for the given scenario while the Super Pixel reduces noise and blur.
The Micromax Selfie 2 offers Truecaller integration and is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, one that is rated to last for 11 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. Other features on the phone include gesture control and Gallery with facial recognition. Connectivity options on the Selfie 2 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, Dual SIM and GPS.
