Indiana clothing store gave away all its Paul George gear for free after Lakers report

On Sunday, Yahoo! Sports reported that Paul George informed the Pacers that he would become a free agent in 2018 with the hopes of signing with the Lakers. For now, George is still a member of the Pacers, but one clothing store in Indianapolis has already moved on from the Pacers star.

Shortly after the report, The Shop Indy updated the prices of all its PG-13 gear from $25 to, well, free.

Now, that’s the clearance sale to end all clearance sales. You can’t beat free.

The promotion seemed to work, too, as all The Shop’s PG-13 inventory sold out in less than two hours.

That shouldn’t be a surprise. Even if the gear will be dated by the 2018 season, it’s super easy to give things away for free — unless you’re Ted Berg trying to give away a couch.
