Huawei is rumoured to launch its Mate 10 smartphone in the upcoming days. A few weeks earlier, we had already heard whispers about the successor to the popular Mate 9 smartphone. Now the images of the device have been leaked online along with some rumoured specifications.
As stated by the company CEO, the next device will sport an infinity bezel-less display, which will no doubt be the Mate 10. Going by the bezel-less design, leaked images indeed show bezel-less display offering a 6.2-inch large Full HD screen with an AMOLED panel. The smartphone has been rumoured to be fueled by the octa-core Kirin 970 SoC, which will be an upgrade to the Kirin 960 CPU with more advanced design. It should offer 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB internal storage. The phone will run on Android 7.1 Nougat.Additionally, there’s no doubt that it will sport a dual camera setup which will be made in conjunction with Leica for excellent picture quality. The whole package is expected to be equipped with a 4000mAh battery, which should have fast charging support as well. The phone’s pricing has also been speculated, which is said to be more than $1000, while its official launch is supposed to take place sometime in October. We had also reported information about its processor recently. The Kirin 970 CPU which is expected to power the Mate 10 has four ARM Cortex-A73 cores and another four ARM Cortex-A53 cores. Some rumours also hint that it will be fabricated using the 10nm process, which should have AI-specific features as well, thereby making the Mate 10 one of the first smartphones from the company to have this feature.
