Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is promising to bring the Honor 8 Pro in India soon. The Honor 8 Pro features company’s fourth generation dual camera technology and packs 4000 mAh battery for an impressive battery life. This new smartphone will join the current breed of dual cameras toting Honor 6X, Honor 8, and Huawei P9.
The Honor 8 Pro officially launched on April 20 and is already selling select European countries as well as the UK. The Honor 8 Pro is an improved version of the glass panels bearing Honor 8. Sporting a metal frame, the Honor 8 Pro has antenna band at the top and the bottom at the back side.
The Honor 8 Pro features a 5.7-inch display with Quad-HD resolution and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
Huawei houses the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC with four high-performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four high-efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Honor is packing 6GB of RAM with this chipset and offers 64GB of expandable storage. The phone boots EMUI 5.1 based on the Android 7.0 Nougat.

As noted earlier, the Honor 8 Pro features the fourth generation dual camera technology hosting two 12-megapixel cameras with a f/2.2 aperture for each at the back. There’s a dual-tone LED flash to aid them. The camera app boasts of a new feature dubbed Highlights, and Huawei has developed it with GoPro. The Highlights automatically creates video stories from the images and the clips available in the Gallery app.
The Honor 8 Pro packs 4000 mAh battery and supports fast charging. Huawei claims that the phone can last for two days on a single charge.
Huawei is selling Honor 8 Pro for 549 Euros in the Europe and 475 GBP in the UK. So you can easily expect the phone to cost about ₹38,000 in India.
