[Bazaar Bargain] Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Max Receive Price Cuts in India


Asus has announced price reductions across the Zenfone 3 lineup. The price slash also applies to the Zenfone 3 and the Zenfone 3 Max. It’s very likely that Asus is passing on the GST benefits to the customers just like how Apple did by slashing the prices across its entire lineup.


The Asus Zenfone 3 5.5 is now priced at Rs 16,999 as opposed to the earlier Rs 19,999. The Asus Zenfone 3 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD (ZE552KL)/5.2-inch (ZE520KL) display and will draw the power from Snapdragon 625. On the imaging front, the smartphone touts a 16-Megapixel Sony IMX298 sensor accompanied with PDAF, dual-Tone LED flash and 4-Axis stabilisation. The secondary camera unit is an 8-Megapixel sensor with 85-degree wide view. Apart from that, the camera app is also studded with the usual bevy of camera filters and features. The 5.2-inch display variant will come with a 3GB/32GB onboard storage while the slightly larger 5.5-inch variant will feature 4GB RAM/64GB of onboard storage. The smaller Zenfone 3 5.2 is now slashed to Rs 15,999 from, the earlier Rs 17,999.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max ZC553KL comes equipped with 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 clocked at 1.4GHz alongside 3GB RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot that can further accommodate up to 128GB of additional storage. The camera arrangements include 16-Megapixel primary sensor with PDAF, laser autofocus, and f/2.0 aperture while the secondary camera shapes up in the form of an 8-Megapixel sensor and comes with the usual bevvy of beautification features. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max ZC553KL is now priced at Rs 14,999 as opposed to the earlier Rs 15,999.


Asus has also slashed the price of Zenfone 3s Max 5.2 (ZC520TL) to Rs Rs 10,999. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL) offers a 5.2-inch HD display and draws its power from 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The ZC520TL also offers 32GB of onboard storage but supports microSD cards only up to 32GB. On the imaging front, Asus Zenfone 3 ZC520TL is made up of a 13-Megapixel primary sensor and a 5-Megapixel secondary sensor.
