Aaron Rodgers shoots around in Zaza Pachulia jersey in IG debut before NBA Finals Game 1

Aaron Rodgers was rooting for the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Sadly, they were eliminated by the Raptors, but Rodgers is still watching the Warriors-Cavaliers Finals.

The Packers quarterback dedicated his first ever Instagram post to the NBA. He put on a Zaza Pachulia jersey (but not a Warriors one, a Bucks one) and drilled some shots. Rodgers wrote:

Getting my shots up before game 1. #midrange #lostArt #onlyMidrange #ZaZa #firstpostever @kingjames @stephencurry30

Pachulia is the only person Rodgers is following on Instagram so far.

Perhaps one day we’ll see Rodgers in a Bucks uniform, like how the Mavericks let Tony Romo sit on the bench for a game. Rodgers has already tweeted about it.

I’d also like to point out that Rodgers is the biggest Drew Gooden fan in the NFL.

Gooden has talked about their friendship. He said in 2014, per the Washington Post:

“He’s been one of my biggest supporters once I got to Milwaukee and he’s come to a lot of our games,” Gooden said. “I became, I guess, his favorite player on the Bucks. He always came to support us courtside and talk to me after the games and text me after the game ‘Good job.’ It kind of escalated from there.”

This all feels random, but in the best way.
