The European Tour put together an amazing birthday surprise for a 9-year-old golf fan named Aaron, and the video is priceless.
They say that the boy’s father emailed them asking if there was anything they could do, so they got together four of his favorite golfers, Andrew “Beef” Johnston, Henrik Stenson, Martin Kaymer and Justin Rose, for an adorable car ride and putting challenge.
It starts with Beef picking up Aaron and his dad. With just them three in the car, Beef gets Aaron to shout “Beef!” with him and the smile and shock on Aaron’s face is just so wonderful.
Then, Justin gets in the car and tells Beef that they need to pick Henrik up as Aaron’s face lights up even more. Henrik gets into the car with the Claret Jug, which he asks Aaron to hold, while Justin hands the boy his gold medal (and takes a playful jab at Henrik for having only won silver).
It ends with Martin greeting them all at the Wentworth Golf Club where the BMW PGA Championship is taking place.
It’s all a low-key ad for BMW, but it’s such an awesome thing that the pros did for one kid. At the end of it, Aaron says to his dad, “That is the best thing that you’ve ever got me.”
